The Three Parts To Creating A Website

# 1. Hosting - Hosting is your online storage that will hold your website and allow people to view it. Most hosting companies will charge you about $15 a month and give you tons of things you will never use. Caution! Use free web hosts at your own risk. Most free web hosting companies require that your site has advertisements or pop up windows. Some will not allow you to install functional programs or databases for photo galleries, calendars, forms, and many other essential tools.

# 2. Domain Name - Your website's address on the internet. Depending on the domain name other comapanies expect you to pay anywhere from $10.00 to $2,000.

# 3. Web Design - The look of your website. Designing the website depends on what you want your website to do. With certain programming languages you can make your site display information or become interactive with contact forms, databases, or scripts that will post data on to a page. I can use Content Management Systems like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and many others. Contact me for a questionnaire.

# 4. Graphic Design - Do you need a logo, t-shirt design, poster, postcards, business cards, or something else? My hourly rate is $45 per hour. But if you contact me with a good description of what you are looking for I can provide you a flat fee. Please be aware that I do not share logos on my portfolio. If you are interested in a logo, please contact me and I'll provide samples and a questionnaire that you can fill out to give me more information before I give you a price quote.
